Ha, I would love to go talk with her about it and hang out while she shortens it but I’m 9,000 km away now. Can’t drop by like the old days. She learned that shoulder while that suit was being fitted. She took some classes from an old maestro I hadn’t heard of. I don’t think he was...

I’m thinking about it. Just worried it will turn out like Cromptons Rubinacci jacket. 2-3 cm should do the trick just hope it’s not too close to the pocket. I will try the timer and get a couple different angle shots this weekend. It’s a three piece suit, just wasn’t cold enough for three piece...

I had to move from boring Europe back to even more boring west coast America a year ago. Had a last minute trip to Naples to pick up a huge stack of work and close my tab before I left. It was all on a ship and in a storage space until now. Finally unpacking and able to remeber what was there...

Not sure how I got that Oxford shoe argument quote in there but damn, that was quite a thread. Just ignore it

Well, sh@t. I got mine years ago. I don’t see them anymore on the site. If you are really interested email him and ask if he can make one from the blue challis tie. Looks like he has 6 tie lengths. Could probably make one from that if you like it. Shibumi has some wool/silk and cashmere/silk...

Try Sam Hober, wool challis. if price matters, it’s way less than the Drakes. Wool challis will do all the things you want and is way more fun than wool or cashmere. Much softer more comfortable to wear.

Thanks! Looking at pics on the internet, Sarti seems like a better choice for what I wear. Looks a little fuller in chest and shoulders. Trousers also. The trousers look really nice. I will email him and maybe see you there next fall.

Have seen you say this a couple times in this thread. i am happy for you. This is not my experience though. Have had to replace some basics the last couple years because I was too cheap to get extra trousers at the time. One reason I am looking for a run of mid grey Rangoon. @milanconqueror get...

Exciting, it’s track suit grey season. just catching up on the last months. Were you serious in your post a couple months ago about doing a run of Rangoon in mid grey? I would take a suit length. just in case the Rangoon does happen, does I Sarti do trunk shows in SF? Moving from Europe to...

Yes, they are great all around. She is learning so much. Each jacket fits me better than the last. The tracksuit grey suit might be the best fitting jacket I’ve ever had. She’s learning many new shoulders. I have a grey (dark, not tracksuit) flannel suit coming this winter. She talked me into...

Damn, I’m swimming in bad taste and lying eyes. I like tracksuit grey. I would wear blazersuit blue. Not as a blazersuit though. Was about to say I wouldn’t wear a blazer suit. I would wear one in cotton during summer. I have hit the bad taste trifecta and it’s only 9:00. Gonna be a long day.
