Just looked at the shop and have to say that the petrol raincoat is a thing of beauty, I really wish I could find an excuse to purchase it right now.

First time I've ever seen a petrol-coloured product that has, in the words of Marie Kondo, sparked joy. Perfect hue for a more matte/muted finish.

If someone calls in sick and I have to work an extra shift I might reward myself with one.

Sparking joy is our brand mission.

The cloth is more petrol-y than I anticipated when the cloth was ordered, but it is definitely (though likely not in the words of Marie Kondo) a happy accident.

I’m parting with a Balmacaan in S, bark brown donegal. In case anyone in the US is interested, send me a message.

Good day, all. About the Balmacaan, it looks like in past years, you've done a donegal in navy, as depicted in several pictures on the model (https://www.sehkelly.com/shop/coats/balmacaan/balmacaan-in-donegal-tweed-in-grouse-brown/)--any plans for that fabric to make a return next season? And if not, do you know what next season's fabric will be? Cheers!

I don't think the balmacaan will be made in navy cloth this year. It isn't out of the question, but we're narrowing down our options and navy isn't among the favorites right now.

The Ulster will, however, very likely be made in navy — similar to the navy we used for the balmacaan a few years ago, but darker.

The uncertainty of the hand-weaving cloth project at its outset, coupled with the time-consuming nature of the process, meant that fewer peacoats were made than might've otherwise been the case.

Ever think of making a pant out of the weatherproof ripstop? This falls into the "kidding, but not kidding" category from a guy who walks his dog for miles no matter the weather and, more often than I would like, in the wind and rain.
