Hmm... "made in Horween shell No. 449 a rich dark brown cordovan"? How is that different from No. 8?Damn Leffot, if you want my $$ for pre-order, at least show me the whole boots!
#8 isn't dark brown. it's eggplanty/burgundy. the 449 rich dark brown cordovan is sposed to be closer to "cigar".
So it's not green after all.
Maybe the sky won't fall, either.
Do the 721 and 744's fit the same as the original 1000 Mile Boot in calfskin?
You can see the toebox of the shoe in the leffot ad.For what it's worth, this looks like a different shade than Cigar used on Alden. But it's worth noting that there's quite a variation in Cigar shell (whether or not hues of green show through) so it's possible the Wolverines could vary similarly.
Mine do, and the 744 will be the same last as the 721, so yes there, too.
EDIT: I think the 1K's are cowhide btw.
From Leffot regarding sizing:
"You will need to size up from your Barrie last size. The 744 LTD is made on a different last than the original 1000 mile boots and you do not need to size down."
