Beautiful 5 hole lace up boots by WJK. LIkely as close as you can get to box-fresh carpe diem (unless you get lucky on yjp or something) and much cheaper. Purchased here http://www.bluemerle.co.jp/shopping/index.html and only tried on indoors. Leather is reversed cow. Fits true to size I'd say with typically low instep. Should work for a US 8-8.5. Retail for 89,000 yen or roughly $1100. Not interested in trades or low-ball offers so don't bother. $780-$750, Shipping in the US included unless you want the box, then it will be extra.
