Hi there dear Ladies and Gentlemen
Just a few days ago i bought old and used Jones Bootmaker 1857 benge made shoes. I´d like to know more about them, but could't find any information. What leather etc. I have shoes from C&J, Meermin, J. Cheaney, Velasca, Church and so on, but the leather on this pair of shoes is different, it's feels almost unnatural.
Some information from the inside: TABER/C 175/F, 235220 236222 - last numbers are worn out and can be incorrect. Any help, what shoes do i have? They look very similar to this: https://abbotsshoes.com/products/cheaney-x-jones-taber-black-brogues-leather-mens-shoes-uk-6-f. They are quite comfortable and in good shape. I imagine are they worth anything to restore.
