Where to meet intelligent women in Toronto?

...who aren't stuck up? It seems as if every woman here is either standoffish or a borderline marsupialed nursing student. (Actually, it seems as if 90% of the women in this city are 27-year old undergrads.) Doesn't help that I have no wingmen here, either, but that should be less of a factor in this situation.

University of Toronto, faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.
University of Toronto, faculty of Medicine.

Both places have super intelligent women, especially at the graduate level.

I think 'just moved to a new city' is about the best possible excuse to meet women online.

As for general advice...get out and among there lad. Join some clubs, meet some peeps, take up ultimate frisbee, whatever. Make friends, and friends intro you to their friends and statistically speaking, like half of them will be women....

I'm moving to Toronto in September, and I'm kind of a genius. Just kind of though, since I'm not stuck up at all.

I would most definitely ask for a picture. Anyway, LS, I hear you, but I haven't found any women standoffish here. The thing I'm noticing is that every attractive girl I see has a ring on her finger. Women seem to get married YOUNG here. I've been told to try the online dating thing but I don't have the patience for it and don't have the time to waste on a string of fatties/ugly chicks that hide that fact through tricks of photography and photoshop.

A lot of girls in this city wear fake engagement rings to deter unwanted attention. It is mostly a testament to the number of weirdo creepers in this city.

That is really, really odd. Do they remove the ring when they find a guy they want to talk to?!
