My outfit today, from top down, has representatives from most of the UN security council. Well, from a majority, anyway. And then a bunch of little countries.

Engineer's Cap - made in the UK (it says England, to be precise)
W+H hoodie - made in Canada
Engineered Garments jacket and Jutta Neuman bracelet - made in the U.S.A. (both in NYC, actually)
Belt - made in Italy
Kicking Mule jeans - made in Japan
T-shirt, socks, and underwear - made in China
Converse Chuck Taylors - made in Vietnam
Wedding band - made in Hong Kong (custom, so I actually know this)

So, if we consider Hong Kong separate from China, then... 8 countries

A generation ago, everything would probably have come from 1, 2, or 3 countries, maybe 4 (Italy, France, and England, plus the US), if you were a super fashionable guy. These days, if you really don't care, you are probably wearing clothes from 2 or 3 developing countries. Only really fashionable people are probably found wearing clothes from just one industrialized nation, and then rarely, and generally more common among Europeans. I mean, I don't know a single North American guy who buys Versace underwear.

How about you guys?

I guess I'll play too:

Engineered Garments Shirt - NYC, USA
Sugarcane 1966 Jeans - Somewhere, USA
American Apparel Tee - Downtown LA, USA
Alife Sneakers - China
Undies & Socks - China
Calvin Klein Belt - China

Tally = 2 countries. Not too shabby. Keeping it within the superpowers.
