Im looking for a new bifold wallet, something that will age and last for 5-10yrs. I was considering Ettinger or Equus in calf or goat, (but happy to have other suggestions). Obviously a price difference between the two, but does one last longer than another?

Anyone have any guidance of older pieces they use regularly, and how they have lasted.

I would go with Iron Heart if you want something that lasts. https://www.ironheart.co.uk/hardware/ih-fw.html

No problem. I have owned several Iron Heart products and have never been disappointed. They really last a long time. Check out Self Edge for other stuff like Iron Heart that lasts.

I may have missed it, but in searching this thread, I haven't seen a reference to Alpine Swiss wallets. This brand is considered by some to be one of the best for wallets and is (gasp!) inexpensive at <$40. I've carried one for a couple of years and it is holding up well, is functional for my needs, and fits comfortably in my front pocket. Any thoughts on this brand?

Hey guys, I hope this doesn't break any rules...but it seemed like a few people were looking for exactly what I make. I use Wicket and Craig for the raw veg-tan (or dyed), and also have Horween Chromexcel. Pictured here is the bifold, but I make minimalist ones too. Will last as long as you want it to (ie with proper care)

What are the price ranges for the models?

That Chanel is very nice looking - I hadn't seen that one before. Just bought my son an MCM card holder he had been wanting.

Looks nice so far, but will have to see how it holds up over time.
