Came to this for the Aimee Mann cameo but I'm just going to say it @Piobaire Rush are pretty good and the special effects are very compelling!

I saw them twice...
Once for Permanent Waves, and once for Moving Pictures.
That's a good song, but for me time wise it's their worst era, and LOL Ged's hair.

a really good friend of my wife put together a ' family reunion ' that was secretly a wedding reception ... what started out as a really fun party hit another gear after the friend and her dude announced that they'd gotten married .

and so this very large extended filipino family was very musical they had brought a bunch of guitars and a PA system so i ended up playing this song for the bride and groom as an impromptu gift , turns out both were huge DM fans and ngl my own take is very sexy and groovy so it landed well . i really like this tune and that's a nice memory too

As always, the lyrics.

Yeah, agree with other poster this was their lame phase. Synths were battling guitars and they were wayfinding.

Just tonight, while we were soaking in the hot tub, Jacob's Ladder popped up on the play list. Phuck, was maybe my favorite song when we saw them in their R40, little did we know, really last tour. Towards the end of the second set, the laser lights so low I felt I could reach them from where we were standing in the third row of the main floor.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a fanboi, but some good times and memories. They were my first rock concert, Cobo Hall, Moving Pictures, 1981.
