What are some of the mid tier brands that have excellent quality?

By mid tier I mean something that is in the price range of norse projects, universal works, folk, engineered garments or maybe slightly higher like aspesi, maybe Paul smith? Some brands that you feel go above and beyond their price range and take care of the littlest of details (MOP buttons, top quality merino wool, etc) which would generally be available at a high price but they do it / a decent job at half the price.
Also what are the brands that do a terrible job at their price point? I would say creed for fragrances for example, imo is overrated at their price point.

How much would some of those examples be for mid-tier? For example, the cost of a shirt or suit?

I think a lot of things are overrated for their price point, but that price needn't be high. H&M will always be a ripoff, IMO, no matter how cheap the t-shirt.
