So Koala, a little while ago you got all sensitive and pissed at people for making remarks about your physique instead of your clothes, and now it's alright for you to make fun of @SeaJen's facial hair?

I'm surprised that Koala didn't show a still from "X-Men", since the resemblance between SeaJen and the character portrayed by Hugh Jackman is really the driving force behind his posting. (Were someone to compare my physical resemblance to Hugh Jackman, I would be flattered - then I would look for the person's white cane and sunglasses . . . ).

For the record, I took it that K-T was implying I resembled Hugh Jackman, and that is certainly no slight in my book. This may be a remarkable capacity for positive thinking on my part, but if it is, ignorance is bliss. Let's just hope my wife sees me in such a light ;)

Ah, my bad then. Never heard of X men. I'm not particularly well versed in American high culture.

The real similarity between us is in physique (you'll have to trust me on that). Faciallly, not so much.

^ I almost commented that based on your last fit I wouldn't want to bump into you in a dark alley. As in you looked jacked. (You Jacked-man? Couldn't resist the pun.)

Meant to be a compliment, just in case it's not clear.

You jumped the gun on this one, @EliodA . I know of no universe where be compared to Wolverine would be anything but high praise. Thanks to those who saw where I was going.

Jacket is a Futuro in washed cotton. Perfect fit off-the-rack, cheap as dirt too. Sweater is silk and cashmere from Banana Republic for $12.

I think double breasted jackets should avoid sweaters. I've attempted it once, I think it feels incongruent. Actually I don't like suits with sweaters anyway, prefer odd jackets or a waistcoat.

Sorry I meant sweater over a shirt, especially tie-less, which some consider itself a bad idea with DBs.

I like dbs with turtlenecks, but I know very well that has not the most bearing on whether it's considered in good taste by forum standards.

This is a coat, but close enough I guess. I do think coat probably works better than a jacket.
