Not to commit sacrilege on this forum, but have you considered getting some comfortable insoles, e.g., gels, to make the boots a half size smaler?

Thanks for the suggestion. I am a truist, I do not like the feel of inserts. I prefer the feel of hard leather. Also, the length is too long. I've already ordered a replacement pair in size 8.5/9F.

also some inserts (from my experience) when you walk a little quicker, they dislodge and start riding up your heel or something.
they dont stay in place.
