Speaking of horsehide, Standard & Strange is going to have two stock models coming soon (I think): reverse Kudu and horse hide with a rough out toe cap and heel counter.

Truman boots in Amaretto horse hide.. The leather is amazing and the construction is really good.....

Ignore the different laces on each boot.. was just trying to see which ones looked best

Can anyone possibly help me out here,

So I wore my marrone trumans for the first time yesterday. We had some moderate rain. I was walking outside for maybe 1 hour in total in the rain. Anyway, when I got in my car I noticed my toes felt a bit wet, when I got home I took my boot off and put my hand towards the toe area. It felt a bit damp and looking outside, there was a "wet" spot on the toes. It was only on the toes too. I've included two pictures here, one of the outside and one inside.

Can anyone think what may have happened? I highly doubt water seeped through the double stitchdown and leather. And it was only concentrated in the toe, could it have been sweat? Any advice or insight at all would be appreciated. It's odd that a full leather stitchdown boot got wet on the inside so please share your thoughts.

Honestly, I just think the water seeped through.
