Not that anyone asked, but the following Single Malts are amazing values (can be had for $50 or less in my neck of the woods) and are pretty much my go-tos for daily sipping:

Ardbeg 10yr
Laphroaig 10yr Cask Strength
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Talisker 10yr

You don't even want to know what I was planning for mine -- was going to build a custom (lockable) cabinet and all. You enjoy what you enjoy. I really hate to compromise on my libations. ~ H

You, sir, are a special case and thus are not required to abide by any normal rules.

^Yeah, I think that kind of thing gets saved for a serious relationship. Not there yet.

Pfft, you dont need to be in a relationship to enjoy a bottle of Champagne (though this is a beer). I am a college student and I drink just about as much mid-tier sparkling wine as I do regular beer (if you go by price rather than volume, either way I get messed up and enjoy it)

I recently had cheese produced by Chimay paired with their beer. It wasn't a magical combination of food and drink, but each was decent in its own right.

Anyhow, to stay on topic, a 750ml of Chimay Red can be had for the same price of a six-pack of inferior beer and is fairly easy to obtain.

) at $ 20-ish you get good whisky(J&B is about 23$ for a 750 ml bottle, Jack Daniels and Johnie Walker Red Label are cheaper as far as I know). Personally, I prefer rum, Havana Club would be my brand(sucks if you're american though), you can get that quite cheap.
