Ed Morel of Panta I believe is working on a new web store - I just bought a pair of pants from him off a B&S thread where he is moving out some inventory he doesn't want to post on the new website.

Guys, have you ever bought ties online from Shibumi Firenze? I should have received something from them (two ties and a couple of pocket squares) last Tuesday. I guess it's just a problem with UPS, but still annoyed by the delay. I've emailed them twice but they've only replied once. I can't find a phone number and not sure how to get in touch with them..

Michelsons - plenty of rubbish but plenty of good stuff too. I have a number of their kitted ties and their madder ones were good.

Also some of the brands like Petronius, Battista, Barba, Church and Brown, Arcuri Cravatte they sell direct so where are you buying them?

The forum member @SartodiNapoli makes the finest bespoke ties available imo. And I own Marinella, Cappelli, Vanda and Drake's but the finishing in theirs is finer.

Can you give an example of finishing that is better on the other brands?

Handrolling is finer than Vanda and much finer than Cappelli, though at this level differences are minimal.

Thanks. I thought you meant the reverse.
