Yes but, how about clearing up why you're argueing the point instead of just saying "I botched it I'll send you a new one and pay for the shipping."?

Strange, I thought formal trousers should have forward pleats. So how can flat fronts be formal?

My understanding is that they may be flat-front or pleated. I had mine made flat-front, since that fits in with the idea of fewer details (everything is simpler). In any event, they are to be without cuffs.
