its more of an electrolyte balance cause when it comes to drinking and hangover headaches induced by dehydration. the best thing you could do is the day after just put in IV line with NSS to keep blood volume normal. you'll see this a lot on days after big holidays in hospitals (where the hospital staff will be all hungover after new years eve). you could also try correcting it by drinking thinks like pedialyte/oral rehydration tablets - but then you're going to deal with nausea/diarrhea issues because the gut isn't used to such large changes in electrolyte intake.

I can remember years ago in the Detroit area ED I worked in we called those yellow multi-vit bags "party bags" and would have a run on acute pancreatitis after every drinking holiday. I mean, I still remember Demerol must be used as real morphine will contract the sphincter of Odi (or something like that).

When I was in Vegas last year I noticed a new service where folks would come to your hotel room and give you IVs (with various additives) to help curtail the hangover.

buddy of mine from school's running for national office here. his people contacted me about helping selling tickets for a fundraising event this week, which I for the sake of friendship helped sell to our school network. unfortunately not everyone's willing to cough up that high an amount for the per plate event, and these idiots didn't foresee that another group also made a ******* fundraising event a few weeks ago and the gate fee was a lot cheaper.
