BTW - You could get a Camille Fournet strap, which happens to be the OEM manufacturer for JLC, for considerably less.

Any recommended sites/shops for them?

Reverso Tribute to 1948. I won't be buying.

They've done a few nice Reversos the past couple of years and this is easily one of the best.

This guy doesn't get too much wear these days but it always puts a smile on my face

You can order direct from Camille Fournet, including commissioning a made-to-order strap in your style and material of choice, via their website:

I noticed the site, but when you create a custom strap it's not what I would call "considerably less." However after browsing the E-shop I noticed it's got a good selection and much more competitve prices. Thanks though!

I like that, @tchoy - reminds me of the Aqua Terra, but very distinctively Seiko.

It's been forever since I checked this thread, and even longer than that since I posted. Just back read through about 300 messages.

@mimo , are you really starting a breakaway thread / FAQ section...?

You didn't read closely enough. :p Welcome back!

I'm not breaking anything, I hope: this thread's now too big again for server-smoothness, and needs re-starting. Fok consulted about making a watch sub-forum, to which the answer was a pretty firm "no thank you". So we'll just have TWAT Part 3 or whatever, with the addition of a FAQ in the opening post, to make it less excluding to new posters. I think that's the idea. Why am I writing the FAQ? I volunteered, shortly after I was volunteered!

This one on my wrist for the last few days. This is the last Omega I'll be buying from boutiques - decent service from the rep that helped us, but the way they've handled production, distribution, and communication of the 45th anniversary Snoopy Speedmaster has been atrocious and upset not just clients but also a lot of dealers.

Still, am I happy I've had my Snoopy since last Thanksgiving? Hell, yes.

Curious what's got you so up in arms, if you don't mind my asking.

Looking at that dial sure does make me smile every time.

Grand Seiko SBGM031

Very nice! Love the bokeh in that shot too. I see I'm not the only one around here using a navy gator strap!

Looks like an awesome day for "a good walk spoiled" LOL.

We've got some perfect golfing weather at the moment too.... but alas, I am stuck in the office as usual.

FWIW, his would be my only watch on a navy strap (old pic):

700

I have also considered getting a pair of navy "shoes" for my Reverso, but as of now it's still on the OEM black gator.

I have the opportunity to purchase a lightly worn AP 15202ST initially sold in June 2015. It is a full set and the watch shows minor signs of wear. The watch has never been polished. The seller is asking 15500 euro along with trading in my Panerai 27B that I have in my signature for sale.

An AP dealer called me earlier this month, that he will be getting a 15202ST in April, I have read that a 10% discount on the watch should be achievable, bringing the cost on the watch BNIB to 20K euro.

What do you guys think, would be the financially more wise move? Buy the new one or the used one?
