don't get the white. the material is super crappy for some reason (the blue ones are nice).

Yea I agree with this. The white one I got is pretty bad. I have them in blue then a couple other EFC shirts in checked pattern and navy. So far I haven't received a white shirt from Uniqlo I have liked other than the Oxford cloth shirt. Anyone have any experience with the slub shirts? Wondering if it is a bit thicker material than the EFC but lighter than the oxfords.

It depends on your chest measurement. I'm 38-39, 5'10 145 and the Small was perfect.

If you're going to wash it, you might want to go with a S. Per an earlier post, they shrink a bit with a wash/dry. I'm 5'8 with 36" chest and the XS fits perfect now, but I'm pretty sure if I wash/dry it, it will shrink too much.

Iike Uniqlo, but so far my two Uniqlo things have both broke in a couple of days. Big holes. One Uniqlo sweater and one Cardigan both merino wool.. It appears that Uniqlo has horrible quality

I can't say much about the Merino Sweaters, but I have a few cotton/cotton-cashmere sweaters that have held up pretty well.
