Ralph lauren caught a scandal when the USA Olympic team uniform's where revealed to be made in CHINA. Due to that he made the uniforms in the US, but almost everything POLO is imported from China. Thats just what it is.

I've had some good finds lately. Always amuses me how you can have a week finding nothing then one day you go to three stores and find a ton of stuff. Most of this is from one store.

Anderson & Sheppard Double Breasted - Something like a 46, from '87!

Vintage J. Press Baller Tux Jacket, wish I found the pants. This thing breaks all the rules - sack cut, peak lapels, one button, and single vent. I think the tag says '62, can a union-label expert confirm that would be consistent? (I call on the master of vintage formalwear, @Orgetorix) It's a 41L

2!!! Pairs of Alden Shell, both N/A (sorry folks)

And two brands I never thought I'd see in a thrift store, let alone the really dumpy one I found them in. First this Kolor shirt, Size 3

And second this 6876 (obscure Japanese SWD label) shirt jacket/chore coat thing. Likely keeping this one for myself as it fits and the name recognition isn't really there. It's moleskine with some small sashiko-like stitching throughout.

the patchwork olympic shawl cardigan from the sochi opening ceremonies was made in the us.
i had a crack at one. not true thrift, but in hindsight a very good price.

speaking of collector madness, i had a chance to get to a couple spots today:

I really do like PRL, but i'm not a fanatic about the big logo stuff. if i was tho, i would be really pissed off these days... i tried to research this on a certain online marketplace and apparently everything with a ******* logo is 'Polo 92 stadium' and is worth $400 BIN... just trying to figure out the deal with the rlpc stuff is a bit of a pain but i'll untangle it. until then, this fits me great.

fun find, probably from 92 or so. Pearl Jam, obviously. i'm really not a fan of album covers on shirts so i was happy to find standalone graphic art...
what's funny about this is some merch grip died or something and donated a bunch of tees, but this was the only thing at all interesting. i should'a pulled a "PLaydice" and asked if there was anything in the back that was too trashed to price out but the clock was a-tickin'.

This is the only kind of music tees I seem to find on a regular basis.

J.Press for Urban Outfitter Peace Symbol Tie added for ironic effect.
