@Ds13 if finding cashmere LP and Cucinelli are bad days, you got it pretty good. #drowninginMeronaoverhere #somuchCroftandBarrow

I said thrifting has been bad, the consignment stores have been plump full of under priced goodies

A fortuitous find: Faconnable Storm System with Loro Piana fabric: 60% cashmere, 40% mohair, wind and water protection. Men's small, but evidently slightly shrunken, because it fits me well enough I'm going to keep it. Also, I was wearing it when I stepped out of the (much too cold) thrift store into a stiff breeze. I was warm.

It's rainin' hats!
(Found these a week or so ago, but haven't had a chance to brag them.) I think this was all part of one donation, the store never has hats, but I walked in and all five of these were on the shelf. I left one Towncraft behind, for whoever wanted it. I'm not greedy.

Do you ever check inside the sweat bands for anything left behind? I've heard of people finding monies in there.

Thrifted and thrift-funded a 2007 Fully Loaded Lexus ES350 that I'm flipping. F'ing Verizon dropped my call in the middle of discussing it with a guy from Craigslist. Hopefully I sell it soon.

Anyone have a guess when Cole Haan was making their Imperial Grade shoes in the US? I look forward to this restoration job.

Thrifted stuff (n/a):

Next are from a home downsizing sale. Most everything was at thrift prices aside from the coats which were I guess at low consignment prices (~$30).

They priced old label Boss and old Armani stuff higher. After a little haggling, I was able to get a number of items thrown in free (including the RLPL leather jacket since it has some dark spots on the back) and with a final discount off the whole bill.

I probably left behind over half the wardrobe- a lot of which was older label zegna, and the rest recent label but with monogrammed initials on the chest. Sadly, there were over 20 very recent label Zegna suits/sport coats which they priced higher and wouldn't come down to thrift prices so I left those (and anyway about half were su misura with his name on the label). N/a:
