Definitely can be hit or miss, but the potential for a big hit makes it worth it. Its also classic, exactly what a true "outlet" should be. Literally middle of nowhere in a town that doesn't even have a stoplight. Cramped. Random. You'll find a lot of crappy 386 line stuff, but occasionally some incredible Black Fleece too. What I've found interesting of late is non-Brooks Brothers brands. Club Monaco, Ike Behar, and John Varvatos, and some completely unknown but high quality shirts the last time I was there. My assumption is that the Garland Shirt Factory, which makes BB's USA made shirts, also makes for these lines as well, and sends their seconds/overruns/etc out as well.

Looking forward to a trip report.

Leave the ******, old Rubinacci sport coats. They've been there forever.

Shooz.

NOS AE's with a Vibram sole.

These things are damn comfy. Officially worn once by me.

Look everyone, I'm Italian.

I used the wrong color polish on these and they ended up looking kind of cool.

Leave no shell behind? I dunno man, these are rough. J&M Aristocrafts.

These are definitely too rough, but I already took pictures of them so here you go.

When I was kid, I remembering my father having these elaborate meals at a steakhouse or an Italian restaurant. It would take 3 hours. First, there was an apertif, then wine with the salad/cheese/fruit, then either a big red with the steak or a couple of Martinis or Black Russians, then a port or brandy, then coffee and desert with Frangelico, or Amaretto. Now, that I think back on it, I don't remember my Dad eating!

Heh! Sounds exactly like my weekly Friday lunch when I lived in Chicago. Worked in the Hancock building, back in the good old days when we made more money than we could spend and lived simply...would go downstairs and check out the Paul Stuart shop, then around the corner to the Saloon steakhouse and order a big ol' steak, baked potato, salad, desert, have a beer and two cocktails, then go back to work just in time to leave for the day...then off to some downtown / Loop / Gold Coast bar to start the weekend proper.

@MJMcRibb, that first Snap-T is gold... Should be pre-1988. Can you share a picture of the small tag inside on the side seam?

I just assumed that was Fall '96. What does your Patagonia secret decoder ring say?

That's right then. I did not recall them releasing the version without the pocket. F6 would be '86...

Forgot I picked these up today:

NOS Alps Rugged Outdoors cotton sweater. Would totally keep if it wasn't a touch too small. Size L, available.
