Also I am not sure I would have considered purple beautiful before, but this is changing my mind. It may not be for me but I can see for some.

* update. Im getting closer. Is this just a rando image of a purple tweed or is this the one in question. If not the search continues. If I had instagram it would be over so I have to be more creative.

That's not my jacket but close enough. Before you go off and start buying stuff maybe think about the context of when and where you'll actually wear the stuff. I would save the purple jacket for nice restaurants and art exhibits.

Or if you're planning on taking control of Gotham City's criminal underworld.

Haha don’t worry. I am not going off to buy anything more anytime soon except maybe deals on a loafer. Unless I find something I have to have thrifting. I am using this time now to experiment and gain experience with what I have to further hone my personal tastes and style.

I think with the pieces I have now have already taught me a good bit in a surprisingly short time. For instance I feel I look better with wider lapels and lower button stances. I also feel I look much better with softer shoulders with less built up padding.

Neutrals and solid pieces allow for much more play and expression I'm finding.

I am really leaning more to a specific palette of colors I think I look good in ( olive greens, rich browns, oatmeal/creams). A few staples in grays and blues for variety. I feel like this encourages me to wear things more too. Perhaps a uniform of sorts with variations of the base.
