Exactly what I wanted for work. (Except in black) There other designs are good as well - I'll probably find something nice for travel too.

This one makes me think of my vintage 80's Kaszer bag. Yesterday a perfect stranger woman in the street said to me "your bag is gorgeous". No need to say more, I got here the perfect bag

I was looking at something similar to this but was concerned about the light color quickly showing use. Has that been a problem?

Spending a few days in Tokyo before I return Stateside... and OMG... I could seriously spend a fortune here. The basement of the Shinjuku Isetan mens store is basically an entire floor of manbags from brands nobody has ever heard of, but are wonderful. Most are priced very reasonably as well ($200-400).

I luckily made myself leave the hotel with only 1000 yen (about $10, or, right now because of the crappy dollar, about 35 cents) and my ID. Had I my credit card, I would have come back broke.

Also was able to check out the CELINE bags I posted earlier in the thread; very nice and very unisex. Pricing is absurd, even for a major brand... though part of that may be the markup for the Japanese market. They want nearly $1200 for the plain leather shopping bag, which is unlined, with no pockets, or anything. Just a piece of solft calf stamped with CELINE. Sort of sad when they have better bags in similar styles from domestic Japanese makers across the aisle, for $300.
