I'm thinking of going with squaretrade instead of AC. Only a $50 deductible and covers up to 4 breaks (AC is only 2).

Do they give you a refurb for replacement? Apple started handing out new handsets instead of refurbs a while back. Not sure if that policy has changed again or not.

i'm thinking about adding it solely because i don't want to use a case.

that, and I regretted not adding Apple Care to my Macbook.

Yeah, my basic rule is extended warranties on (1) mission critical **** and (2) mobile ****. Which basically means anything Apple (e.g., main computer, notebook, phone)...

This thought just came to mind, but my apple products have always been very reliable. I've been using my Macbook air for four years now and I've never, ever had an issue with it.

Waiting for the 12" rMBA with a fanless and clickless trackpad design to come out..

I guess the MBPs have more complex parts and pieces that can go afoul.

What means "clickless trackpad"?

If there's no click function you can't highlight or drag with it, no?

He means a trackpad that behaves like an iOS screen - tracking, hard and and soft press, etc.

Wish the 13 inch Macbook Pro had discrete graphics. I'd jump on that. Otherwise, I am with you on just waiting for a retina Air to hit.

I don't like using a case either. I've had two iPhones both issue and crack free but I think my next one might be pushing my luck. I think I will get coverage for the 6.

I had the black iphone 3g, 4, and 5, so I went with gold for the 5s to mix things up.

Back to black (er, space grey) for the 6 -- no ragrets! You gotta mix things up a bit, so I highly recommend you get the silver. Gold looks bad this time around with the 6/6+.

Hate having white around the screen. That's the only reasom I keep going black. It just makes the screen look much better.

not sure, though from what I've read they're really flexible and have great customer service. if you receive a replacement you don't like, they'll swap it. you can also go into an apple store and swap out your phone and they'll reimburse you.
