funny thing, I just watched a Norwegian documentary bout the history of Apache. Neither The shadows dude nor Bongo dude said they´ve heard any other versions of apache.. Seems weird though.

ive never heard other versions, and its probably because you cant improve on the original... how can you make those drums any harder??

It's not just a sample, it's a crappy/awesome song called Apache feat. someone who sounds like Carlton from the Fresh Prince rapping over it... or maybe I have no idea what you're talking about.

BTW, the Ventures also did a version.
