I have been to SH in the summer. Most weird rains they have there. They don't build up slowly they just open up and you better master umbrella fast draw technique.
City is very beautiful around the harbor and islands.
Very walkable, safe, reasonably clean.
As far as women are concern: If you are into stick figures with no butts then you'll find plenty of attractive girls.
Clothing choices at the stores are bland and overpriced. Scandinavians don't like colors other then shades of white and black.
Museums are blah. Nice covered farmers markets in downtown. Delicious food at those markets. Lingomberry jam, thin pancakes , chanterelle pies, cheese. Yamm.
I did not find much to do in SH (I stayed for 4 days). Although I definitely enjoyed the city, since it was my first visit. I would not return any time soon if ever.
It is not nearly as exciting as other European capitals east of it or west of it.
