The Javascript image viewer is annoying as ****, is there any way to disable it? I would just like to click an image and have it open a new link directly to it, rather than some god-awful slideshow.

The previous picture viewer was infinitely superior. You could also navigate to the next picture with the arrows and dismiss the viewer with the Esc key.

most things like that you can middle click the image and it loads in a new page. ctrl-click sometimes also works. if I'm not mistaken at least the latter works for the image viewer

Is anyone else having trouble going to the first new post on their iPad? I know people have had problems in IE, but for the past two weeks I've had trouble with my iPad. It will jump to the first post while it's loading and then go back a dozen or more pages.

I've noticed lately that my subscription settings occasionally reset themselves to Immediate of their own accord, resulting in sudden floods of email. Any idea what is causing this? Thanks.

Seems like a twat. I've almost deleted a few of his posts, but I decided to play it conservatively.

I've started deleting his more trollish posts. Let me know if I'm overstepping my bounds (I feel a lot safer just busting spam...but the guy is clearly ruining some threads).

He isn't really. As a hall monitor, when he flags a post, it gets hidden until a mod takes a look, usually w/in a few hours. 99.9% of what they flag is spam. But I've asked them to be alert for a few recurring trolls and to pm J, Fok, or me if they aren't absolutely positive it's one of those repeat offenders.

They are not really deleted, they are held for moderation. It is meant to be used only for spam and obvious/offensive socks and trolls.

I believe he was chosen so we have people in different time zones who are awake and logged on while the murikans sleep, to keep an eye out.

Yeah, poor choice of words on my part. Though I'm not sure that makes me a knucklehead. Other things in real life, yes. That, probably not. My powers are small and modest compared to the mods and admins.

I'm mostly here to combat those black magic Indians. Which would be a cool title. "Black Magic" Just saying.

Also, Bhowie, you brought back mostly positive memories of being called a knucklehead by my high school gym teacher. You're from Texas too, right?
