^^^ Those are both very nice, though I find the lugged sole of the Santoni a bit heavy for the otherwise sleek upper. Very rich golden shades on both pairs, though.

And I'm gad you dug this back up, as I had not seen those ****-toe Bonafes before - sweet! I hope Skoak does something like that again in the future.

Question about the colour of the stitching: I want to get a pair of goyser stitched shoes from Vass. Is there a "natural" colour? How do I ask for it? From what I see, most are painted the same colour of the sole. The one I want is sort of the colour of a natural sole - so that there's some contrast (but not white as I think that will get dirty real easy)

found this forum, and this topic in specific, because i was looking for a pair of brogues with more "body" than the usual.
after some searches, i've come across the triple welt collection by Grenson.

what's your opinion about these shoes?
aesthetically, imo, they're simply fabulous. but, and what about the construction and the leather quality?
