Do you recall how much they were last you checked? I don't recall if they any stock when I bought my Louie so don't know what the going price was for them in shell. The Louie is the same price as it was when I bought it.

Same prices I paid last year, and I'd pay them again. Have the #8 and Whiskey FH ...admire/use them everyday

Do you guys think these "blemishes" are ground for a return? They rest of the shell and the shell on my other wallet looks fine.

For me that is hard to decide without seeing how those "blemishes" relate to the overall look of the wallet as a whole...meaning I cannot determine an answer based on this photo, but rather would be more inclined to decide based on this close up plus an overall photo of the wallet.

Wow that's natural? That looks like Ravello or a dark whiskey.

Here's one I made recently. It has shell cordovan as the outer and Hermann Oak as the interior. I've also made one in full shell but I'm waiting for the dye to arrive so I can finish the edges. Next one will be shell outer and kangaroo interior.

nice work. i've been thinking of getting into leatherworking precisely so I can make my own stuff. how long have you been doing leather work? Do you buy your shell from Horween? Looks good!

Thanks! I started about a year ago and I would recommend working on calf rather than jumping straight into shells. I've had no luck getting shells from horween and other suppliers but I managed to buy a piece from a member in sufu. Best of luck with your venture :)

I didn't take an inside pic of the shell but it will be identical to the calf one I've made:

After losing my Brooks Brothers shell wallet (made by Ganzo in Japan), I picked up a Leffot Fold. Now in minimalist cordovan bliss.
