Except for the berry note, it's decent but not as good as the original John Varvatos.

Last night I received a surprise gift package with Habit Rouge, Bvlgari Black, and Versace Dreamer, plus samples. So I started with Habit Rouge (far better than I recall - this one's going to get worn a LOT), then in the early a.m. wore Bvlgari Black (still strange, may wear for meetings), and now at the office I'm wearing the new Sean John Puffy Combs: I Am King. Smells like iris + grape kool-aid.

Today - a goodly dose of Guerlain Habit Rouge edt. Better than I recall.

28 La Pausa for 2 weeks...I'm finished my challenge now, so Declaration was my choice for my first day off. I couldn't wear the same thing for 2 days either...hence the challenge. I was buying a new bottle at least once a week...I needed to stop the madness and appreciate what I already owned.

Using CDG Man 2...

Can anyone throw me a recomendation for a ctirus-based summer cologne? All I have now is Sel De Vetiver for summer and I'm getting tired of it.

If you can find Signoricci for a decent price (though it's discontinued), I'd run with that. Alternatively you might look into Guerlain Vetiver (not strictly citrus but still good for summer), or Eau Sauvage.

Fortunately I've dialed the buying way back, shut off the spigot actually, but I've still got bottles I'm learning about, and a slew of samples yet to test.

CDG's Cologne Series are worth checking out if you're a CDG fan. TDC's Bergamote is my summer fav.

CDG 888 today. I picked up 888 and Dior Homme as a present to myself for getting into grad school

My samples are slowly drying up...I have the strange ability to test 700 things all at once.

I use Lacoste Essentials and I love the fresh citrus scent it has. Hopefully their patented time release is true !
