Looks great! Thank you for sharing!London.
First fitting.Had more time with Kotaro than the first meeting and a much more relaxed vibe this time round.
Tried on the maestro's doppio uso which fitted me pretty well.Beautiful coat and tempting haha
Picked out a grey sharkskin for another conservative business dress suit only to find it's really similar to a daily I am currently wearing so back to the drawing board.
Keeping to my word above and posting as many pics for reference.
Cheers

Fintex of London?Maestro "are you free tomorrow to come again"
Without hesitation "yes Maestro"
In again with Kotaro today, modifications to yesterdays fit and immediately noticeable.
Picked out a gray for conservative business dress work suit. Something he called serge (and I don't meant the guy that sits opposite me at work 😁)

Doesn’t sound like kotaroVery beautiful work…I’ve been very tempted to commission something from him since few fears ago, but can anyone advise what the turnaround time and payment schedule is?
A friend told me his order had been held for 3 years+ and when he flew to florence there was apparently nil progress on the suit. Don’t think I (and my body) can wait that long, also I’m hesitant to pay 100% upfront for such long wait as USD9k is not a small sum for me. But reading this post it seems everyone got their suits within a year?
Thanks in advance
To clarify, my friend was a trunk show client so he wasn’t expected to go to the artelier.Doesn’t sound like kotaro
Well. 9k for a suit and paying up front sounds like liverano through the armoury. To clarify, my friend was a trunk show client so he wasn’t expected to go to the artelier.
He simply told me that when he visited Florence he dropped by the shop and did a fitting, but it’s in the exact same state as it was before. I have no idea what adjustments were needed and how big a part covid played. Just curious what the normal turnaround time is.
9k+ is my budget for corcos as I aim to get a few items, not what my friend paid for a suit. Again, my only question is really on what Kotaro’s turnaround time and payment arrangements are to make sure I could get something I appreciate. Apologies if there’s any misunderstanding that triggered any defensiveness.Well. 9k for a suit and paying up front sounds like liverano through the armoury.
