Well now you have me all confused :puzzled:
The way you describe the woven shoes being for extra ventilation makes sense (Although being in CA and a really really cold morning is 60 degrees,  I won't be able to test out the warm weather shoes in cold weather thing). But in another post of some other woven shoes you described them as looking very cold weather. Can you help a brotha' out?
Here are the side by side shoes to compare.

Actually what I was describing as cold weather was your trousers. Both of these fits confused my 'Easterner's' eye for the same reason - summer shoes, winter trousers.

Since nobody else shares my confusion perhaps I go away and hide! :hide:

By the way, I really love this subtle combination. socks that match the pants almost exactly, but pop's of purple in the argyle. Very cool look.

And the pops of purple match the tie, but that's not on the pics

Great combos here today everyone!

FYI this is what Oi Polloi is wearing today:

Very stylish! I love the updated version of the berk's with those white soles. And the orange rag socks give this summer sandle a winter look. And those pants. You cant beat them. Nothing like a great pair of nylon trousers

Horribly grey weather, led to this:

A little too much, sure. But when it's -18 out and snowing, flashes of colour does wonders :):embar:
