I have the Spider oxford, the Bestetti, A normal lace up oxford, two single Monks in green and blue, and the commando boots. All are pictured in his tumblr. And here are some photos of the hand of Bestetti while cutting my first shoe test. The next step I'll show you tomorrow because I have yet to download photos from your camera. This phase was done in a very professional manner in dealing with my foot as if it were a star. Tomorrow I'll show you the foot inside the shoe and cut the little changes that Bestetti must do.

does anyone happen to have photos of Riccardo's lasts they're willing to share.
i'm trying to come up with a loafer design while he's making the shoe below



the only name I know this design by is his 'almond' toe. I want something similar for a suede loafer
but have only seen a single loafer style last

From my conversations with him I have learned that he has basically 2 lasts...each last with 2 different toe types.

1. Perfetta
- Perfetta Toe (very long extreme/aggressive chiseled type toe...like a bird's beak)
- Almond Toe

2. Classic
- Classic Chiseled Toe
- Classic Rounded Toe

I have pics of all of these and will try to post them tonight.

And here's my foot inside the shoe test Bestetti ... as you can see only small changes and the form will be perfect for my feet. Now I can not wait to do the second test to achieve maximum aesthetic perfection and maximum comfort.

If you are asking about the better value, VASS is hard to beat.

Now if you asked what shoe would one get, if you could only get one shoe from one of these two makers, the answer would be Bestettis.
