if you want to wear one just for the hell of it, you just have to get some details right. If it's casually, say out with some friends on a weekend, then no tie, unbutton the jacket, wear some interesting shoes. You could go on a date to a nice restaurant and be a little more dapper. This way the context will be there and people won't be like "wtf , why is that dude wearing a suit".
There are some days where I tell my girl that I want to rock a suit today, she dresses accordingly and we go out for some food or whatever.
To some extent. Context is highly important. I'm 18, in high school, and live in suburbia; wearing a suit will always trigger "wtf" reactions in any casual environment. I've had people ask me if I have a job interview (or some ****) just because I wore a white ocbd.
Someone in their mid-20s (particularly in a metropolitan area) can very easily wear a suit casually. I probably can't.
