I got an xs navy one while in the city. Was on the hunt for an EG blazer but didn't have any luck. Tried on an OL and a WWM blazer but neither really grabbed my attention (liked the OL but the chest was a little tight for me), but they had a stark for a good price and as soon as I tried it on I couldn't turn it down.
The sleeves are really long, but I cuff them so they're just about perfect. The body isn't nearly as crazy long as people say. It's definitely a long cardi, but that's what it's supposed to be. I avoided it for so long because of that but it was a mistake.
Believe the hype.

Yea it's long in the body but actually makes for a really nice shape. The sleeves are surprisingly not that long, I don't cuff mine.

Honestly, I think it really deserves to be hyped, I'm incredibly happy with mine

The Dayton mess is a shame, I'd have bought a pair by now if that were actually possible. Wasn't there talk of ToJ shoes at some point?

There's not much discounting in Japan. Moto's is just a tiny boutique the size of your kitchen, so they apply to the stiff upper lip philosophy of retail here - they keep on keeping on, without changing a thing. They'll be the same in 2025. I still don't know if i can buy random sizes there since people had said that was forbidden, basically - I was planning to go in with either big or small shoes on during a given day and ask for the size, try it on real fast and lie to them, say, 'great fit!' and check out, and then proxy send them on. Doesn't work if I tyr to buy 10 pairs in different sizes, colors, and styles

I don't make TOJ things if they're not up to nick. There's plenty of other things on the market to serve purposes like that. I only do something if I can make a really good case for it, have it at the best quality i can do, and at the fairest price I can sell it at. I sound really Sam Walton right now. lol. I'm serious though. Refer to the shearling jacket debacle.
