Correct. I like the Raf pieces this season too, and the Ervell. I dunno, maybe it's the 25% Norwegian in me, but these patterns are really calling me home to the fjords

If you guys really want sweaters like that, just get something from Dale of Norway, which is sort of the gold standard for those sweaters. I have one (now moth eaten) from the time I did an internship in Bergen (1995).

This...I found one in a thrift the other day, couldn't believe the quality. Nice pattern and great slim cut, too.

Unfortunately, Reedo, I don't see anything similar currently on their web site. But, if my workout plans go well, and you're still obsessed with fair isle stuff after winter, I could probably let mine go. :D

There's a Backlash Isamu Katayama double rider's jacket out now, modeled after a LL lightning. It's made from Guidi oiled calf, they got it from them in Italy I guess. Looks thin and rather unimpressive though, because thin oiled calf isn't really my thing I guess, dime a dozen to me. Anyway, the price... $8000 or so at exchange rate.

^Sierra Trading Post is sometimes a good source for Dale knits. Ironically, mine was one of the first things I sold when I came to SF.

On another note, anyone else ever have a bit of a let down feeling when finally acquiring a grail piece after thinking about it for a year or two (obv not non-stop)?
