Hey all,

Has anyone else noticed the boot boxes getting smaller? I just received a new pair of Chelsea 11s and after trying them on and trying to put them away, I realized I was struggling more than I should have been. I finally got them squared away nicely and decided to see if the box is smaller than my other 4 C&J boots (all the same size) and the new box is less wide and less deep. The shoe bags are also different in that they feel less plush but are considerably larger. Overall don't care for this change and just wondering if anyone else noticed.

IME shoe/boot box size from C&J varies for no clear reason. I've older boots in small boxes and newer ones in big boxes and vice versa. Like you, I prefer the larger boxes as it harder getting boots back into the small boxes.

Hi all, first time poster and long time lurker here (since around 2018). I have learned a lot about GYW shoes and maintenance from this forum. So thank you guys!

Since then, I have acquired 8 pairs of C&J shoes. I was planning to go for 12, but I think I'll have to stop now since they keep increasing price and getting too expensive for me now 😂

Stunning, absolutely stunning. Great to see a small but carefully curated collection. I've just seen the price rises at Gaziano and Girling which are just huge! C&J's are modest by comparison. Go on you can afford another pair! 😇

Agreed, they are dead comfortable. I have it in black too. It’s just a design I don’t get much opportunity to wear with everything else I own.

Haha. Yes. I was just thinking about this yesterday when putting away some shoes. I could easily put an extra shoe in a few of the boxes and then there are all my Alden boxes splitting from being too small for their intended purpose..
