Just picked up a pair of xx003s as a pat on the back for scoring some major pell grants this semester. Can't wait for it to get colder to start breaking them in.

Anyone have any input on Flathead BSP vs. PBJ XX-011?

I currently own a pair of Flathead BSPs in a tag size 34, I'm finding that they have become more of a straight leg for me and waist stretched out is a bit too big so I was thinking of going with a 32 in the PBJ XX-011 to have more of a tapered cut. In comparing the raw measurements they are pretty similar expect from the knee down the XX-011 seems slimmer. Would I be wrong in thinking this? TIA.

for me, the pbjs fit slimmer than the sizing would suggest. i think you'd want a 33. looking to unload those BSPS? :D

This is true, except the waist. The waist will always fit you no matter what. You'll want to make sure the thigh measurement is spot on, though. That will either be fine, or tight and stay that way.

Word, so I should be more so looking at the thigh measurements. Should I expect a little stretch? I'm somewhere between a 11.75 and a 12. I'll measure my BSPs when I get home, the thigh is pretty much spot on for those.

Thanks for the advice. :D

edit: BiG's chart says Upper Thigh is 14.5 on the 32, I'm assuming this a typo and should be 11.5?

^imo, 011 RAWs are generally SD1, the O/Ws are TTS. so, you should be alright on a tagged waist W32 on RAW = W33 on O/W

That was my thinking too. I feel like the O/W process is a lot more hardcore then my 30 minute to and hour or so hot soak.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed a million time, but do people see a difference in results (as in fades) when purchasing the RAW vs the O/W? I love my denim to my stiff as hell when I purchase and then it breaks in with time. Almost like you're stealing the virginity of the denim when you get the O/W, someone please set me straight..

Can someone tell me the slimmest PBJ? Do they make anything that is considered "skinny"?
