PBJ o/w are usually the smallest a given pair will ever be - in fact from what I've read, it's rare that doing your own soaks/washes ever result in as much shrinkage as buying the o/w right off the bat.

I'd take the o/w measurements as the absolute base line - the lowest the denim could go.

    EL is right on.

    011 is very forgiving @waistband.
if you're aiming for comfort slim, you can pick up the tighest size you can button up in O/W version__ w/c would prolly be a TTS.

but, if you're going for slimmest, it's an automatic size down 1 in RAW__ possible SD2 .... if NO "thigh" issues

Getting rid of those cuffs after first wash ( maybe this year, if I find the time to hit the beach ... )

Damn I love that fit. I'm trying to shoot for that right now. Might just go for O/W and take the guess work outta the whole purchase.

^^ Size 34 O/W , my true waist is around 35' so maybe TTS

If they're falling like that now, it's because there's been some stretch ( up to 35.5 ~ maybe even 36 ), but thighs probably don't change much

I don't wear them much , beat them up pretty bad whenever I do

Probably the fastest changing jeans I own

Anyway, if you have your eyes set on a pair, I'd just worry about thigh and knee measurements

Can't go wrong following IIIrd's advice

I think it looks great. Your pre-soak looks like the post-soak of your previous 011s.

Throw up some post-soaks when you got the chance. I bought a sized-down one raw 011 just now from BiG. I always thought that place had free shipping?!

Personally, on the post soak 30, I think you're getting a bit of pocket pull that results in "mangina".... but could just be the photo.

Going to say I personally favor the look of the 31 post soak, but to each their own.

size 31 a bit too loose for day 1 imo..

I'm afraid I'd have to go with the other folks, jehuti. I think I like the overall fit of the 31 better. What temperature did you soak your jeans in and how long?

He mentioned a 40 minute wearing-them-in-the-tub soak. Assume it was warm.

hahaha.. appreciate ur opinion man.. i also think its too tight but i think im ok with that coz pbj will stretch a bit
actually they stretch already after a full day of usage.. i can button up without much effort not like before.. and theres room in my thigh area now
for size 31, i soak them in the bathtub with hot water (maybe 50-60degree) for almost 1,5hour coz they are waay too big in the beginning.. they shrunk quit alot after soak
for size 30, i only use tap water coz my pre soak fit is pretty tight already
im sure my size 30 will stretch to 31 post soak fit in no time :D

They'll also shrink back down anytime you wash them in the future. With the 31s you'd have had it all out of the way...

  18. Oh man. I think my 007s are transitioning out of the chewbacca phase and getting that nice medium blue hue where the fades occur. Love these jeans.

    Spare time this morning -

Fresh xx003s. Soaked twice, little to no wear (>10hrs). Sizing is all settled. Enjoyed my xx009s so much that I had to grab the same cut.

And then some messing around -
