In haiku you can write
One syllable more or less
In one line only.

In one line only
You can cheat the syllable count
By one more or less.

In proper haiku
Cheating the syllables
Is acceptable.

Thus endeth the lesson
About cheating syllables
When writing haiku.

New Boston Legal
William Shatner in the house
king of sense/non-sense

In proper haiku
can cheating syllables
wander from line to line?

Or is that a dumb
gaijin trick that will earn him
shame and dishonor?

Ok, ok, I have succumbed to the new SF trend. Forgive any mistakes with syllables, I never really had much extensive formal education in English so I am unclear on certain syllable structures

Like Basho's sons, in flannel they type; Sounds of keys
Edit: diorshoe: lol Hmm, it is probably too warm for you up in the colder areas for flannel. And it is spring, wrong season. Ack.
