OK, so I bought a pair of "skinny" jeans and I don't know how it is supposed to fit. I usually wear baggier jeans and I always hem it so that the pant legs slightly touch the ground or the bottom of the sole.

With these new skinny jeans, it doesn't do that. I just got them hemmed and need so feedback if it should be shorter, longer, or just right. I personally think I hemmed them too short, but what do I know.

Also, let me know if this is the right fit for me or if I should have gone smaller/tighter.

I think the length looks ok. The longer you leave them, the more they will stack. If you like that look, you might want them longer than they are now, but I don´t think it´s necessary. I like the length like this. Although I wouldn´t call them skinny.

jeans are casual pants, so a bit of break ususally looks good. the length on your pair seems fine, you could probably even hem a bit more, and they fit well.

thanks for the replys.....it just feels very awkward wearing skinny jeans....kinda like im dressin up like a woman. i read somewhere you're supposed to stack these jeans and my pair just has a full break....thought i was breaking some type of fashion rule or something.....

They are not really all that skinny, don´t worry. And I think there is more to dressing like a women than skinny jeans :p I think as a general rule slimmer pants look more dressy, that´s all.

The jeans fit ok, but what we really need to discuss are the shoes.

Burn them now, thank me later.

Jeans look great, although may be a little loose in the waist, I can't tell with that belt.

Agree with comment about the loose waist, if you dont have a belly consider trying one size down, otherwise those are cool maybe tighten belt one more notch, and please consider the previous advice about the shoes.

When I bought the jeans the 31 were really tight everywhere, and the 32 were a bit too loose, especially in the waist and butt area.....wish there was a 31.5 as it would've been perfect.....i ended up choosing the 32....

so should I go get these tailored in the waist area? what does it do if i take in just the waist but the butt/hip area is still loose.....won't it look unproportionate?
