Welcome to Pho Addicts Anonymous, my name is Justin.
I have never been able to make the broth good enough at home
I asked my mother-in-law to share the family recipe - will report back anything I may legally disclose without fear of family retribution!
I heard the way to gauge the quality of the pho is to look for the amount of vietnamese that are actually eating at the pho joint? Truth?
ftfy.Only thing better than a good, home-made pho is bun cha with nuoc mam sauce.
yeah, I know those old traditional recipies - it will be something like "make pho, serve in a bowl" people who have been making it all their life forget that other people don't know how to make it. but thanks
there are tons of terrible pho places. some of them the soup tastes like what i imagine lukewarm toilet water would taste like i guess.
If you want my recipe, PM me. I've sent it to some other people here and they haven't complained yet. It's not mind blowing or anything, but definitely decent.
