It seems that there is a substantial number of us MCers in the Philadelphia area. While not nearly as classy as NYC or gorgeous as SF, Philadelphia has its own charms.

Would any of the Philly locals be game for a meet-up in the upcoming months?

I'm willing to offer my place for a meet-up. We are located approx 30 minutes South of Philly, less than 1 mile off I-95.

We have a private room that holds up to 12 people. So this doesn't appear as a commercial post, I'm willing to offer the food/drink at 25% off, which makes it break even for me. I'll even through in some wine from my personal cellar.

Anyone interested?

I'll go to philly for a meetup, but delaware is a stretch. Sounds like a great deal, but its too far of a drive for me.

I'm just outside of Princeton, Tom's bar is an hour and 20 minutes for me which is a bit further then I'm willing to drive. I might be convinced as it looks like a really cool place.

You have other suggestions as to a venue? I have several in mind - but I try to avoid trendy places or those that tend to get too crowded.

I don't know why I clicked on this thread as I live in Seattle but this place looks beautiful.

Mrs. Cuffthis and my house is 7 blocks from my restaurant. It is a former B&B. We have 2-3 extra bedrooms if anyone needs a place for the night. First come, first served for the rooms.

I recommend Sat 11/7/09 for this event. This is the first Sat that our private room is open in the upcoming fall season. We can hold up to 12 people in that private room. I may be able to get the local press to cover this if we want to make it Black Tie or some other unique sartorial theme.

FWIW, we've hosted other SF members in that room/our house, and they all lived to tell about it, lol.
