debbie downer here but does anyone else find the lapel gorge to seem really droopy and saggy?
it gives it a very dated look to me
with the gorge line cut ~parallel to shoulder, i think gives the the shoulder more visual authority

but the ties look killer, though

What do you think of this one . . .

The stuff Ed has on deck looked and felt great! MAJOR improvement over last year's show. I was tempted to empty my savings in there (which says a lot considering this is me). Kudos to Ed and his vision. Mrs. Morel was very nice also. If you guys can make it, do eeet! Definitely worth the trip. I wanted like eleventeen ties whereas last year I was iffy on one.

i find this a good solution, too.

with the higher notch it makes it seems as if the shoulder is anchoring the lapel. otherwise both the low placement AND the obtuse angle makes it seem like the lapel sags

/personal opinion

My chambray commission from Carl was completed, and I could the be happier with the drape of the fabric.

Very Impressed with Ed's offerings. Ordered some items including having a suit made. Met some new SF friends.

Highlight- Meeting Mrs. Morel, truly a beautiful lady.

Lowpoint- Not getting kick out by Carl, regardless of my behavior
