Hi
I'm putting together an outfit for a christmas dinner party. The dress code is not strict, so people tend to have a bit of fun. This year I want these dress slippers to be the focal point of my outfit.
These are black velvet slippers, but they come in burgundy w/ black tassels and navy with red tassels too, so those are always options.
If I get the black and red, I plan on wearing them with solid red socks and a black suit.
I need help working out what shirt to wear, and what to accessorize with. Im a bit stuck on what colours will work well.
I like this white shirt (it comes in black too):
OR A friend suggested I try a blue or pink shirt instead of the white, unsure if this will match the red socks and tassels (I think the design of the white is nicer but this might be a better choice):
Any ideas on whether I should wear a bow tie, what colour pocket square etc. Help tying this all together is appreciated.
