Got a text from UPS that the amp was sitting on my front porch! Thankfully my wife was able to scoot them inside the door.

That looks awesome. How do you like it?

Thanks! It's nothing short of phenomenal, albeit quite overwhelming. It will take a few days to understand how all of the features can work together. The number of interactive variables that can be adjusted is crazy. LOL

It should keep you busy for a while then. Congrats.

I'm a bit of a neat freak, and so is most of my family. But when it came to the music studio, we always found that messy is better - when **** is all over, it's harder to notice new things. A bunch of little amps here, a half-stack or two there, cords galore, and guitars all over ... a new amp or new guitar just wouldn't be noticed by the XX people in the house. "is that new?" "nah, it's always been here, though it was stuck over in the other corner"
Also my father, who became a bit of a savant at this, found the advantages of having two or so empty cases laying around. "Jesus, look at all of this, how many guitars do you have??" "oh, it's mostly just empty cases that came with the guitars" and then he'd open up one or two to reveal nothing inside ... and then turn up one of the amps so further inquiry would be forfeitted by the desire to GTFO of the loud room.

this is amazing logic.

This was one of my favorite looking guitars that I ever owned, a Gibson Reverse Body Firebird I from 1963. Clapton played one for a while on the final tour of Cream in the 60's.

^ That looks awesome.

Guys, a question. I have a beaten up old Epiphone Casino that has a repaired headstock break, new tuners, and unoriginal pick guard. Not worth all that much, and certainly not a museum piece. I love it to death, but I would really love to have a bigsby on it. How horrible would it be for me to have one put on?

I have a Epiphone Riviera with one. These big body guitars are perfect for one, especially an awesome old beat up one.
