I didn't like that scene at all. It felt forced and contrived. The way he kept piling it on despite the fact that guards were all around her made me go wth....

No. It would have been impossible, as neither of them was even a POV character in the book. And Littlefinger would never do something like that. He is the smarmiest dude in the world.
