Sometimes, I do that with my friends ties if they are made of polyester.
If someone catches me I try to hide the corpus polyestry in the toilet. I feel the emiment urge to use the flush then.

There's no need for such humble pie on his part. If he asks nicely I can help him pick things that at a minimum enhance him.
