Just thought some of you might be interested in the latest duffle from Saddleback. Finally back to offering the 'right' size (IMO) - a 27" duffle sized between their Beast (which was just too large and since they redesigned it to only have a handle - not practical) and their Baby Beast which was just an overnight bag. It's been a while since I bought from them - I've used a briefcase for quite some time - back when they made their products in the USA. Since then, they've shifted manufacturing to Mexico. It looks like the new duffle has the same great construction as my trusty old briefcase. In about 4 or 5 years of use this will have some great patina to it. I do like the small pouches at the ends - well thought out without taking up space. But, overall, it's the rugged simplicity of the product - no zippers, no wheels - nothing that breaks. Just good quality, thick leather, quality stitching and rivets.

And, just for reference, my trusty 8 year old Thin Briefcase
